GM Cleansing & Detoxifying 7 Day Diet

GM Cleansing & Detoxifying 7 Day Diet

So, I’ve decided to do a full body cleanse so I found this GM diet. I wanted something simple, not juice only, and short. My goal isn’t so much weight loss (though I’m happy as hell if that happens too) but instead flush my system and body of impurities for the first time in my life.

Tomorrow is Day One for me. I wonder how many people I’ll want to kill on this thing or how long I’ll be hungry 😛

Here’s how this diet works.

  • During the first seven days you must abstain from all alcohol
  • You must drink 10 glasses of water each day (that’s 2 liters)
  • You can eat unlimited quantities of what they call “Wonder Soup” (recipe below)

Day One All fruits except bananas. Your first day will consist of all the fruits you want. It is strongly suggested that you consume lots of melons the first day. Especially watermelon and a cantaloupe. If you limit your fruit consumption to melons, your chances of losing three lbs. on first day are very good.

Day Two All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount or type. For your complex carbohydrate, you will start day two with a large baked potato for breakfast. You may top the potato with one pat of butter.

Day Three A mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount, any quantity. No bananas yet. No potatoes today.

Day Four Bananas and milk. Today you will eat as many as eight bananas and drink three glasses of milk. This will be combined with the special soup which may be eaten in limited quantities.

Day Five Today is feast day. You will eat beef and tomatoes. Eat two 10 oz. portions of lean beef. Hamburger is OK. Combine this with six whole tomatoes. On day five you must increase your water intake by one quart. This is to cleanse your system of the uric acid you will be producing.

Day Six Beef and vegetables. Today you may eat an unlimited amount of beef and vegetables. Eat to your hearts content.

Day Seven Today your food intake will consist of brown rice, fruit juices and all the vegetables you care to consume.

Once you are done with Day 7 you will be fully flushed AND 10-17 pounds lighter. 🙂 I’ll be the test!

So you can also supplement your 7 day diet with Wonder Soup. This is a homemade, preferably organic, veggie soup. I just made it and it tastes amazing. I’m planning to have at least one bowl a day, possibly two (when home from work and after dinner). I made one big batch and split it up into a few smaller containers for easy consumption.

The following soup is intended as a supplement to your diet. It can be eaten any time of the day in virtually unlimited quantities. You are encouraged to consume large quantities of this soup.

28 oz, Water, 6 Large Onions, 2 Green Peppers, Whole Tomatoes (fresh or canned), 1 Head Cabbage, 1 Bunch Celery, 4 Envelopes Lipton Onion Soup Mix (or make your own like I did), Herbs and Flavoring as desired.

So, tomorrow is day 1 and tonight I set out my meal plan for the entire thing + picked up the first 4 days of goods at the grocery store.

My plan is:

Day 1 – Tomorrow = frozen fruit and water smoothie for breakfast, 1 whole melon + cucumber for lunch and dinner. Snacks of peaches, apples, kiwi throughout the day. Not having soup unless I absolutely am starving at dinner time after my fruit.

Day 2 – Friday = potato + carrot juice for breakfast, big salad for lunch, zucchini pizza boats for dinner plus veggies steamed. Snacks of broccoli + red pepper + soup if needed.

Day 3 – Saturday = Carrot juice for breakfast, grilled asparagus for lunch, salad and grilled veggies for dinner + soup

Day 4 – Sunday = bananas + milk + soup if needed

Day 5 – Monday = 1 tomato for breakfast, 2 cold cooked burgers for lunch + 2 tomatoes, 1 steak + 3 tomatoes for dinner.

Day 6 – Tuesday = carrot juice for breakfast,  salad for lunch, steak + veggies for dinner

Day 7 – Wednesday = fruit juices for breakfast, fruit juice + salad for lunch, brown rice + stir fried veggies for dinner.

Here we go!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll be reporting my progress on Twitter 🙂
